Back In Business

Long time no talk, loves! Tomorrow is the first day I’ll be working from home. After over a week without internet, we are back in business. I feel so pathetic for missing it in such a short amount of time, but it is what it is. Scott & Leslie, Andys sister & brother in-law, were so kind & let me work from their home while we waited for internet here at our house. I almost had to drive down to SLC to work, so they made my life a lot easier by letting me work there temporarily.

This was on NYE. I genuinely enjoy opening bubbly for some reason (clearly). Needless to say, this is pretty close to how excited I was today when we got cable & internet. Some things simply call for celebration.

My ‘office’ is a nightmare, since that is where I have put boxes that are still packed & such. Eventually, with time & a lot of effort, I hope to flip my office & have it resemble this beautiful ‘Mommy cave’ from ‘Vanessa & Valentine’. It isn’t your average office, which is why I love it. We all need a little sass to keep us going during the day, which is exactly what the bits of cheetah print are doing for this room. I also love the orchid, they are my favorite flowers. I have the files/magazine organizers from ikea that she used in her office, so that gives me a little bit of hope. For now, I’m working with what I have. I will add things slowly but surely. I think that re-decorating a room is more fun during the hard work. I love the finished product but it’s always fun doing little odds & ends to make it exactly how you want it.

Anyway, I need to get to sleep to prep for an early start tomorrow. Once I get back into the groove I will hopefully have more time to write (no promises, school starts on Wednesday).
