Decisions Women Face

“Some women choose to follow men, and some women choose to follow their dreams. If you’re wondering which way to go, remember that your career will never wake up and tell you that it doesn’t love you anymore”

  1. Actually, young Gaga does not yet know what it’s like to be a middle aged, mid-career woman. Your career CAN wake up and tell you it doesn’t love you anymore. Not that I’m advocating a life of chasing men either….

    • I didn’t post this because I think that Gaga is a great role model or because I agree with all of her beliefs. I posted it because there are women who forget how key it is to focus on their hopes & dreams instead of a man that has the ability to leave whenever. I enjoy this quote because it, in a way, supports what I believe in.

    • She has had quite a big influence on people around the world for being such an idiot, wouldn’t you say? I don’t agree with everything she does but that certainly does not make her stupid. She has done a lot of really good things and a lot of things many don’t agree with. Either way, to each their own my dear. Have a great day.

  2. oooooh I kind of like it. I think having both is great but it is so easy to get lost in both. there has to be a balance especially when you are young and can be so easily consumed by on or the other.

Love your blog and passed on the our lovely blog award to you.

    • I agree with you, it’s all about balance. I think that with this economy most jobs aren’t stable either, but I like the idea of what she said. Oh thank you! Is there info on your blog about it?

  3. I love this! Gaga may not be a genius but I adore her verve and it’s very alright to love someone (be it man or woman) and to follow with your heart, as long as it’s not unrequited love because that’s moronic.

  4. misandry at best. some good advice to young people….never take advice from “hollywood types” or famous people. most are dysfunctional personalities who drown themselves in a work/career persona due to not being able to sustain healthy and meaningful relationships.
