“I always knew the woman I wanted to be—I knew I wanted to be a woman who was independent, a woman who was in the driving seat, a woman who didn’t need for the man to decide.”
Diane Von Furstenberg
I believe knowing who you are & what you want to become is a gift, an art, and one of life’s most beautiful & brutal lessons. Cheers, Mrs. Furstenberg
This must be the theme of the week. Just yesterday i twittered….”I don’t think I am the person I turned out to be. #weshallhavetoremedythat” and then my anais quote today….The energy is shifting, B, we are all reevaluating who we are and who we ARE. ;)<3
Crap, I want it to be the theme THIS week too, damnit! (just kidding;) sorry for the late comment.
I always love all of your tweets & quotes, they help me stay positive. It’s a good feeling to think this way:)
I just figured out it really is that simple a few months ago. Amazing how clarity on how I want to grow makes life so much easier and SIMPLE!
That is so beautiful, I am happy that you were able to see that. Makes life even better:)
There are so many solid, unsung heroines out there. Choose one and emulate her. We’ll all be better women for it.
Amen to that, very well said. I agree with you 100%!
I didn’t always know who I was but when I DID, it made me strong and made me ME. I like strong, independent women. We shouldn’t be shy about it. We are also SMART and the world needs us now more than ever.
I love that. It’s beautiful and interesting because everyone learns this at a different time of their lives. It feels so nice to know authentic self! And no, we shouldn’t ever be shy, I concur:)
*know our authentic self
