And only herself

“A woman in harmony with her spirit is like a river flowing. She goes where she will without pretense and arrives at her destination prepared to be herself, and only herself.”

    • I’m glad you like it. I have to say, I love that you’re a big Jim Morrison fan! Thank you for stopping by my blog, I apologize for the late reply, had to take a break from blogging.

      • Oh Bailey, you totally made my day just from hearing from you!! I MISS YOU! Everyday you brought a smile to my face with your wise words! I’ve been wondering where you have been. I know you are a smart lady and most likely have great reasons to be hesitant, but know that you and your blog are missed! You can always email me or FB me Dana Walls in SF Bay Area. If there is ever anything I can do to help motivate or inspire you let me know! I’ve been slacking on blogging recently lately too…life just gets so busy! Hope all is well and dont be a stranger! XOXO!

  1. I love this quote so much I shared your blog post on Facebook. I wish more wise women like Maya were more celebrated as opposed to just entertainers and reality stars. If they were, we would live in a more balanced world.

    • Leah, I agree with you on that. It’s a shame that people like Lindsay Lohen are on the front page of MSN so frequently instead of women like Maya. Thank you so much for sharing my post. I apologize for taking so long to reply to you… I needed a break from blogging. I hope you are well, and I look forward to talking more soon. xo

      • You’re welcome. Thank you for commenting. No worries about the wait. I don’t have nearly as much time to read all my favorite blogs these days and I miss that, but that’s life sometimes. :)
