How to be a better (happier and healthier) human being

Remember that what’s right for someone else may not be what is right for you (and that’s okay). Never be ashamed or afraid to ask for help. Do what you love. Remember that you always have a choice. Find joy in what life really is—living.”

  1. Being at peace takes some serious effort for me, but I have really seen the payoff in the past year. Part of it is being aware of when my emotions get to intense. Like yesterday when my friends dog was driving me crazy and felt this sudden anger well up inside me. I noticed it for being something in me and not the dog, so I had to just take a deep breath and ask myself why in the world I would let a petty annoyance bring me down. Inner peace is no joke, it is totally possible.

    Doing one thing at a time and just doing that. It took me a long time to understand multitasking is just a myth. Being present in the moment is so much peaceful. Thanks for lovely share.
