Meet Bee

Well hi beautiful! Thank you for visiting my blog. My name’s Bailey Mikell.
Deeply passionate about everything I do and curious about everything I don’t. This blog is dedicated to my thirst for love, life, and the many messes I’ll make along the way. I hope you can stumble upon some inspiration while you’re here.

    • Well if it isn’t my new favorite blogger! Not sure if you’re aware, but you make me laugh my ass off. Your posts are so witty. So thank you. I appreciate your humor:) and thank you so much for nominating me! I have actually decided to ask anyone that nominates me to nominate another, and hopefully new, blogger. I have experienced that awesome feeling of being nominated & I want those that have not to as well :) hope that is okay with you & that you know I am still honored!

      • I’m glad you enjoy my posts and I can make you laugh. Thanks for the compliments, I appreciate it. That’s a good idea and I will look for a new blogger to nominate. You are right, it does feel good to be nominated, unfortunately, I didn’t realize what it actually meant for a while. I have a tendency to be a lazy blogger sometimes. Thanks again and take care.

  1. Good Morning Bailey,
It was back in January of this year that you posted a thoughtful comment on my spiritually centered poetry blog with WordPress. I was impressed with the spirit of your comment and check back on you. I Love your writing and your sharing. Blessings in your journey. From your Texas’ friend in Texas (enjoying a great week at my Texas home in East Texas on Cedar Creek Lake).
    John

    • Hi there John. So nice to hear from you. I’m sending lots of love and good energy your way, for I know you truly appreciate it. I hope you’re fully enjoying your week at your personal sanctuary. Bee

  2. Great attitude Bailey! It will serve you well. Love your blog name too. :) As a ‘like-minde’ driven person too a few mantras I live by are : “if its easy we’d all be rich” and “its not what you do when people are watching that defines us but what we do when people aren’t looking that defines our charachter”. Keep up your good work!

    • I love both of those mantras, thank you for sharing them with me. And I appreciate your kind comment. It’s people like you that help me get by at times like these. Namaste

  3. I love your blog Baily not to mention your style in thoughts. I’m a heterosexual (smile) but find you to be a beautiful looking woman never the less. You are thoughtful and kind in your response to others and I look forward to following you – in desire of keeping surrounded by beautiful, kindhearted caring people like yourself.
Although I’ve had a account with word press for a while, I’m still unfamiliar with this whole process and it’s nomination scoring. I hope in time i too will figure it out.
As response to your comments of guys wearing hanging pants; GIRL THAT’S ONE OF MY GREATEST PET PEEVE THESE DAYS. I am getting sick and tired of seeing their nasty underwear’s when i don’t wish too. I know every generation has their rebel fashions, but this generation has taken it too far!!! I would think my daughter has lost her mind if she had ever brought home something like that and say “but mommy-I’m in love.” thank god she finds it undesirable as well. I figure they wear their pants in that fashion in letting other’s know they perfer taking it in the butt. Please excuse my frankness; but i told you it’s one of my pet peeves.
Have a bless day Baily. I look forward to reading your articles and thank you for taking time and reading mine.

    • Hi there, and thank you so very much for your sweet words. It’s so nice to meet loving people through this little blog of mine, it always brightens my day. Haha you also made me laugh from the “taking it in the butt” comment. I love your sass, more women need a dose of it these days;) I hope you have a beautiful day and I can’t wait to hear from you again. All my love, B

  4. I would like to nominate you for the “Very Inspiring Blogger Award”. There are five rules you will need to take note of: (1) Display the award logo on your blog. (2) Link back to the person who nominated you. (3) State 7 things about yourself. (4) Nominate 15 other bloggers for this award and link to them. (5) Notify those bloggers of the nomination and the award’s requirements. Congratulations and do continue to inspire! Bravo!

    • I guess you could say I’ve been “re-discovering” myself. But I miss you, a LOT. I have been keeping up to date with your posts & I hope you know you’re doing a fantastic job (as always). Thank you for commenting even when there hasn’t been any new things to comment on, you have made my day on multiple occasions during this little “blogging break” of mine. Can’t wait to talk more soon! All my love, Bee

      • I’m glad to see you’re okay, and I hope everything is well with you. A lot of people miss you around here, and I do. I hope whatever it is I do on my blog has helped you in some way. I am waiting to see what you post!

  5. Hi Bailey. I wanted to stop by and say thank you so much for liking my dorky posts! It’s an honor coming from a blogger like you. :) I love to write, I just need the dedication of keeping it up. Not to mention I am a little technologically impaired. Oh well, I’ll figure it out.

I sincerely hope that you are doing okay. We have only briefly met, but I feel like I know you through these personality-filled blogs. Love life and keep writing.

    -Kim

    • Kim, I am so sorry for taking such a long time to reply to you. I am usually really good about responding to comments on my blog, but I have taken a break from writing & didn’t see the recent comments until now. I don’t think your posts are dorky at all, I think they are all quite thoughtful & intriguing actually. My favorite post of yours is “What the Kokanee Salmon Teach Me”. Keep writing lady, I know I’m not the only one that loves it. When I first started writing I tried to commit to writing for 15 minutes everyday & if I didn’t like it I didn’t share it on my blog. It always got me thinking though, so maybe that will help you. I am doing okay, and you are the sweetest for being so thoughtful. I’d love to get lunch or something sometime, let me know when you’re in town and available. xoxo

  6. I myself have countless flaws but a love for pinpointing the beauty in others.== Hi Bailey, this particular line is amazing. It reflects the beautiful soul you have and the constant flows of love from your heart.

Nice meeting you, Bailey. Many blessings and much love to you. :-)

  7. I had almost forgotten that you once subscribed to my (abandoned) blog (thelesserevening.wordpress.com)! Reading some of your entries makes me want to get back into the habit of publishing more articles. I’ve been podcasting about nerdy stuff lately, but really want to get back into art/film criticism. Hope your new year is treating you well, B.

    Great photography. You’re a beauty!

    • Hi Gilbert, thank you so much! It’s so nice to hear from you. Sometimes taking a break from writing is just what you need. I look forward to reading your work. I hope your new year has been wonderful as well!

  8. Hi Bailey,
Are you still writing?..I hope so. :)
    I love your ‘About B’ post…very intriguing.
When you have some spare time please feel free to pass by.
    Have a great weekend. ;)

  9. Hello gorgeous, charming girl with very unique and nice blog. Thank you very much for following my blog. Much appreciated, dear Bailey! I hope you like my blog. It was my pleasure to visit your blog.
