The perfect case

I have some mad love for my iPhone. I love all of the doodads & cool shizad that it can do & it provides me with lots of entertainment. For example, instagram… go here if you don’t have an iPhone. Perfect for a procrastinator like me. My problem is that my case broke after enduring a battle or two. So now I am on the hunt for a case that is tough, sassy and reliable. Same traits my badass best friends have.

Here are a few cases I’m loving (click photos for link)

Which one is your favorite?

Things I’m Loving

This eye mask that can help you get some sweet sleeps, even when you aren’t feeling so sweet.

Ankle cuffs for the fashionistas

Light sweaters for Spring

Pink lips

Women who are beautiful and classy.

This, because it makes no sense at all and all the sense in the world at the same exact time.

This gorgeous chair that is out of stock from Anthropologie. Breaking my heart but inspiring me to find something even better.

XOXO

Just a splash

Absolutely loving this modern style for homes right now. I imagine living in a home like this & never getting tired because of the vibrant colors. What do you think, do you like the daring splashes of color, or is it too much for your taste?

I am always searching for pretty book ends for decoration but I never find any I love that match my house. A cool way to solve that problem is to cover bricks with a fabric of your choice. It’s easy and gives you more control over the color scheme in your home. Hope that helps.

Sea Of Shoes & Atlantis Home

I am loving the two new fashion blogs I have found — especially since one is ran by a daughter & the other is ran by her mother. Sea Of Shoes is Jane Aldridge’s personal style blog that focuses on the celebration of a good shoe. Atlantis Home is her mums blog where she covers all things fashionable including her own line “Atlantis Dry”. They are quite the style duo. What do you think?

Life Is Made For..

I have found a new love that makes early mornings something to look forward to… Eggs over easy, wheat toast, cholula hot sauce & a good book in bed. I used to make scrambled eggs every single day after school in elementary. I wouldn’t eat them with anything except ketchup (I know, sort of gross). After a couple years I burned myself out & dodged all eggs. For some reason I woke up ready to give them another shot, and I’m glad I did. Add some coffee/tea & you’re in heaven.

I’ve decided life is made for pb&j’s & dancing your ass off in the kitchen (to this song, naturally), so that is what is on my agenda on my day off. The floor also needs to be mopped & I’ve got laundry for days. My closet will be color coated by the end of today no matter what measures I have to take to make sure of it. There are a couple sites that have great tips for the perfect closet. These are the two I’m looking to for guidance 1/2

Steady As She Rose

I have loved glittery  polish on other people but have been holding off because I wasn’t sure I liked it on me. I tried ‘Big Money’ by Sally Hansen & was really happy with it. But these got old really quick and they also chipped easily. So I switched to a french manicure.

The lines aren’t perfect but I’m not complaining. I applied Nail Envy as my first coat because it helps with nail strength & growth. Then I applied two coats of OPI’s “Steady As She Rose”. Be sure to wait before applying the second coat, I’ve noticed air bubbles in my base coat when I haven’t waited long enough. Then I used ‘Alpine Snow” for my tips. I used a toothpick and just put a drop of the color on a piece of paper. Less is more, if you get too much it gives the tip a weird form (my ring finger in the picture on the right did that)

Anyway, I think these are perfect for Valentines day. Simple, classy, and guaranteed to make you feel pretty.
